Ranjeet turned down Gabbar's role in Sholay

Ranjeet recently opened up about an incident when his family didn't approve of his career choices and threw him out of the house after watching him assault Rakhee's character in their 1971 film Sharmeelee. He also revealed that he turned down the role of Gabbar Singh in Sholay to honour his friendship with Danny Denzongpa.
